Sydney is a managing partner at Cannaafrika.com where he creates, produces, and procures content for the commercial cannabis industry, businesses, and clients. Sydney is also a founder and managing partner at BellaCanna LLC where he overseas global operations. He attended Howard University, and received a BA in Journalism PR. “HU, You Know”!
Sydney had two close friends introduce him to the commercial cannabis industry. Both of those friends are leaders in the industry, in their respective sectors, and started Sydney off with the knowledge of cultivation and manufacturing. From there, Sydney grew his understanding of the commercial cannabis industry, eventually expanding into Cannaafrika.com, the portal into all things cannabis on the continent of Africa. There, Sydney plans to apply ACCCE’s risk management principals throughout the organization to help their employees and partners benefit from the key mitigation factors that come from this knowledge base. To say the least, Cannaafrika.com is lucky to have Sydney as a part of their team.
Sydney first heard about the Association of Certified Commercial Cannabis Experts through a family friend and is currently studying to be an ACCCE Certified Commercial Cannabis Expert. “ACCCE provides a unique knowledge base about the risks in the commercial cannabis industry, which in turn allow for my company to mitigate many unforeseen obstacles.” He also believes that risk management principals will help his business mitigate costly errors his clients might make.
Sydney currently resides in Los Angeles, California, but has lived on four continents: America, Africa, Asia, and Australia! In his free time, Sydney enjoys taking care of his 14 nieces and nephew when they come visit him. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and talking about and building ideas that can help our future as humans on this earth. In addition, Sydney works to refine his skill of natural healing through what the earth can provide.
